Young scholars returned for phase II with @mmsd_mke and @sourcetenvideo to see how their previous ideas and feedback provided in our first brainstorming session on past water related job videos were applied to fresh new content.
They were pleased about how their ideas were incorporated into the new videos, and it opened up the opportunity for a deeper dive into a discussion about the responsibility of the employer to create a work environment that people can thrive in. They also challenged what the traditional ideas of benefits mean. A career job should allow a person to feel fulfilled in many areas of their lives. They gave critical examples of how employers could invest in the professional and personal growth of their employees.

There is an abundant blue/green job industry in #Milwaukee, and in a city where unemployment, poverty, and homelessness are an abundant root of a plethora of disparities, we didn't take the assignment lightly.
